Two months and counting (eep!)

I've been working on something behind the scenes, with a colleague from Andromeda Spaceways. With a bit of luck, and not a little effort between now and then, that 'something' should see fruition in early June.

The 'something' is probably better identified as 'Light Touch Paper, Stand Clear', for that is indeed its name.

There'll be more info released a little while down the track, but, for now, I can reveal that 'Light Touch Paper, Stand Clear' is an anthology of short speculative fiction, edited by Edwina Harvey and myself, to be released by Peggy Bright Books in both paper and e-book formats. The book contains a baker's dozen stories--our apologies in advance to any triskaidecaphobes out there--by several of Australia's most talented specfic practitioners (and a few international representatives thrown in for good measure). Edwina and I are utterly thrilled about the quality of the contributions (all of which are original to this volume). We have the stories, we have the cover art, we should be in a position to release the TOC within the next week or two.

As I said, more details will be forthcoming shortly. For now, I'm just looking to acknowledge the antho's impending existence, since rumours have begun to manifest themselves on the topic ...

Did I let the cat out of the bag too soon? Always was terrible at hiding cats.

Not at all! A little advance word-of-mouth is always useful.

And if it's hiding cats you're after, in my experience you can't go past the Acme Satchel of Advanced Feline Concealment ...
